Isang Diwa Isang Hangarin Kalikasan Ating Kalingai

Let us take a look at Region 3’s act of appreciation for nature, which occurred on March 20, 2021
at the “Mangrove Forest” of San Rafael IV, Noveleta, Cavite. Around 150 Lions from Region 3 attended so
that they could plant Bacawan and clean in this important site. Despite coming from far-flung areas of
Cavite, they were still able to visit in order to witness the beauty of the woods. It truly is invaluable
Almost all of the birds reside here: the Egrets, mini Egrets, cattle egrets, wild ducks, Black Heron and the
crows, to name only a few. The fireflies could also be seen during the nighttime.

The mangroves of Noveleta span around 80 hectares, and they are guarded by caretakers from
our government (DENR). It is a place which one can revisit repeatedly, although it’s only right that what
we have planted is also visited and surroundings are cleaned from time to time. Nature is what sustained
us, so it is only right that there will still be more of nature for the next generation to enjoy and appreciate
– we must learn how to truly love nature. It is my dream that these woods would be visited over time by
nature-lovers, much like myself.
