The Cavite City Lions Club, Cavite City 104 Leo Lions Club, 3idf Cavite City Lions Club, and Cavite City Alpha Leo Club participated in a District 301-A2 Philippines Emergency Grant project through LCIF. The project provided disaster relief to the victims of Typhoon Carina at Dalahican Elementary School in Cavite City.

Hurricane Debbie slowly crossed Florida and Coastal Georgia, dropping as much as 16 inches of water in several areas.
