每年11月14日為聯合國世界糖尿病日,台中市金蘭獅子會配合紀念日已經連續舉辦五年糖尿病防治活動。今年更邀請台中市衛生局及廣邀各大醫療診所、衛教廠商共同響應參與，希望透過寓教於樂的活動拉近民眾與疾病的距離，同時呼籲民眾關心糖尿病照護，提升國人對糖尿病疾病認知。
