Ever felt the pressure of exams without the right tools in hand?
Now imagine facing that pressure without even a basic writing pad.
On October 7, 2024, just three days before exam season kicked off, the Leo Club of Kandivali Lokhandwala Township came forward with a mission: to ensure that no student walked into their exams unprepared. With ”Write to Empower – Phase 1”, we reached out to the bright young minds at Mumbai Public School, Lokhandwala, Kandivali East, delivering 1100 writing pads to students from 1st to 10th grade.
Led by Project Head Leo Vedant Surve, the distribution was smooth, swift, and filled with smiles. As teachers joined hands with Leos to organize the flow, students walked away with more than just stationery—they left with confidence.
The timing couldn’t have been better. With exams beginning on October 10th, these writing pads became not just sheets of paper, but the foundation for dreams, marks, and milestones.

With this spirit, the Leo Club of Kandivali Lokhandwala Township proudly launched ”Write to Empower 2.0” on October 15, 2024, at the Maharashtra BMC School, Thakur Village, Kandivali East, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
Led by the ever-dedicated Leo Nandini Pillai, a team of 4 Leos stepped into a room filled with 350 bright young minds and placed in their hands not just *writing pads*, but the power to express, learn, and grow.
Each pad distributed wasn’t just a stationery item—it was a gentle nudge, a silent cheer, reminding every student that their voice, their story, and their efforts matter—especially with exams around the corner.
The energy in the room was unmatched. Smiles bloomed, enthusiasm sparked, and a simple act of giving turned into a moment of motivation and connection.
Education is one of the greatest gifts we can share, and Write to Empower Phase 2 reaffirmed our belief that small steps—when made with purpose—can create lasting ripples in young lives.
