Walking Africa

Over the course of five months,  Brazil activist Jose Castro, from Lions Club de Viçosa – DLC12 – walked 5,000 kilometers across Africa, from South Africa to Egypt, in a crusade for wheelchair accessibility. After passing through South Africa, Lesotho, Eswatini, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi and Tanzania (on route to Alexandria, Egypt). He stopped his journey at Morogoro, due to the increase of COVID-19.

Lion José Castro has traveled across 74 countries through his various endeavors, he is on a mission to make a difference in the world, one step at a time.
