Vision Screening and Feeding Program
The Dumaguete City Host Lions Club of District 301B2, Philippines conducted a Vision Screening, Visual Acuity and Refraction for 350 grades 3 and 4 learners from Dauin Central Elementary School in Negros Oriental. We identified 5 cases of Myopia, 2 of Hyperopia, 2 with Moderate Astigmatism and 1 case of Anisometropia.
Our mission to end avoidable blindness one student at a time here in Negros Oriental is making strides, thanks to the Sight For Kids Program by Lions Clubs International Foundation.
we also had a feeding program for the students who were screened, ensuring they leave with both knowledge and nourishment.
