Unity After The Storm: Lions Clubs Bring Hope
The municipality of Hinigaran, Negros Occidental, is grappling with widespread devastation in the aftermath of Typhoon Tino, which caused severe flooding, infrastructure damage, and agricultural losses. Hundreds of families have been displaced, with homes destroyed. The typhoon’s impact on rice and sugarcane fields—key economic drivers for the region—has raised concerns about long-term food security and livelihoods.
In response, Cavite ASMEPPS 103-A Lions Club and Bacolod City Host Lions Club mobilized a collaborative relief effort to support affected communities.
The clubs distributed emergency food packs, clean drinking water, Blankets and preloved clothes to the affected families.
The efforts highlight the power of community-driven partnerships in disaster response, offering hope to residents as they rebuild.
