Thank You from the Athletes of Special Olympics
Special Olympics athletes from all around the world are celebrating the Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) and the 20-year-long partnership with our movement through a brand-new global video. From Brazil to the USA, from Egypt to Belgium, and from South Africa to China, athletes have stepped up in front of their cameras to thank our partner in a range of global languages!
Launched in 2001 with the development of the Special Olympics Lions Clubs International Opening Eyes programme, the bond between Special Olympics and the LCIF has since grown into the remarkable partnership that it is today, providing and supporting family health education, inclusive sports, refugee programming, leadership and national partnership development, club creation and development through the “Mission: Inclusion” platform.
The athletes from Special Olympics programmes across the world who appear in this video represent the millions who have been empowered to reach their health, sporting and leadership potential through the support of LCIF.
