Supported by a **Major Catastrophe (MCAT) Grant** from the **Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF)**, volunteers delivered urgent relief to communities affected by the floods, providing hope when it was needed most.
The MCAT Grant enabled **all 12 districts of Lions Multiple District 306** to respond quickly to local needs. Lions distributed clean drinking water, cooked meals, dry rations, hygiene supplies and sanitation items to thousands of people. Families returning to homes covered in mud and debris received cleaning equipment and essential household items, helping them begin the difficult task of rebuilding their lives.
The strength of the response lay in the reach of the Lions network. With volunteers already embedded in their communities, Lions were able to identify urgent needs, coordinate with local authorities and ensure that assistance reached vulnerable families without delay.
