Lions Clubs Association of Bulgaria District 130 successfully completed a project to support community recovery following the devastating wildfires that struck Bolyarovo Municipality in 2024.

Thanks to a US$20,000 grant from Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF), Lions in Bulgaria were able to provide critical assistance to families affected by the disaster. Building materials and cement were purchased and delivered for the construction of 10 foundations, enabling the installation of prefabricated houses for displaced families. Additional cement was distributed to other households to help repair homes damaged by the fires.

In total, thanks to the power of Lions’ service, this relief effort reached more than 70 households, bringing hope and stability to those working to rebuild their lives.

Through the strength of Lions and the generosity of LCIF, communities in Bolyarovo are on the path to recovery.
