Lions Quest Book Distribution

The Lions Quest Committee of Multiple District 301 Philippines turned over six hundred books to a public secondary institutions in Legazpi City, Albay Province with the largest student population in the region. With the support of a grant by Lions Clubs International Foundation, the impact of the project is felt on a wider scale and with greater magnitude as similar donations have been done in leading public high schools across the country. In partnership with the Philippines Department of Education and Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry, the roll out of teacher training workshops and consequent book distribution has institutionalized Lions Quest in the Grade 7 Subject of ”Edukasyon sa Pagpapakatao” – the leading modality for imparting values, virtue, and morals into adolescent learning. As the social-emotional learning content of Lions Quest now informs this specific subject area and with the roll out of such books, Filipino youth are now more equipped to make life decisions for a better future.

For his part, Governor Flores in his address remarked, ” I am grateful to Lions Quest Philippines for selecting these schools in Albay Province, alongside several other provinces under my jursidiction, in the distribution of books. Learners are now able to acquire life skills during a critical moment of growing up as teens in this day and age.
