Lions Club Mission brings aid to IP community
A joint mission activity by the Cavite ASMEPPS 103-A Lions Club, Saint Francis of Assisi College 104 Lions Club, Laguna Legacy Lions Club and Philippine ASMEPPS Lions Club, together with ASMEPPS Family Leo Club and Cavite ASMEPPS Liceo Leo Club was conducted to help an indigenous people community.
Cavite ASMEPPS 103-A Lions Club led a donation drive: “Pack the Love Drive, Serving the Indigenous Tribes – Ilongot and Agta.” Lions and Leos members distributed the goods to the Agta Community in the highlands.
“Tired yet fulfilling! At the end of this mission, we have gained smiles on our faces seeing that we have helped the community. Service for the People is really a value for us Lions,” expressed by one of the Lion member. The tribe chieftain expressed his outmost gratitude to the organizing clubs.
Thru this initiative, these clubs have created a positive impact in the community.
