My Lions Wow moment is the pride and satisfaction I derive from volunteering to assist those who are blind and visually impaired to have access to vigorous athletic competition playing adapted baseball known as Beep Baseball. The National Beep Baseball Association (NBBA) is the sanctioning body for this sport which helps those who are blind and visually impaired live fuller and healthier lives both on the filed of competition but also in the game of life. Many fellow Lions have become involved with this inspirational service project around the country and in some parts of the world. I hope one day LCI will deem such programs worthy of support. This activity has literally saved lives. Please visit www.nbba.org for more information.
