„Lapis at Papel“ (Pencil & Paper)
„Lapis at Papel para sa bawat batang Kabitenyo“ (Pencil & Paper project for Caviteño students) is fundraising campaign initiated by the Cavite City Lions Club MJF and 3 idf Cavite City Leo Club. We raised money thru online donations together with the help of other Lions and Leos and our friends. This project aims to provide school supplies to 100 students each 12 Elementary School of Cavite City. Also, we wanted to help to reduce the expenses of the parents in buying school supplies for their children. The uniqueness of our „Lapis at Papel project para sa batang Kabitenyo“ (Pencil and Paper project for Caviteño students) has a multiple purpose project . They are: (1) focused on helping the youth with their studies; (2) to raise awareness of diabetes and (3) raise awareness about cancer information thru the leaflets that we attached in every schools that we distributed in 12 Schools. The Leaflet gives knowledge not only to the student but also to their family members about diabetes and cancer and how we can avoid it. Most parents/guardians lost their job and were struggled in earning money since many businesses we’re closed due to pandemic. Not every family has the financial stability to provide school supplies to their own children, so out „Lapis at Papel“ is really a big help to the students as well as to their parents. We Believe thru this school donation drive, we invest to the students future by improving the resources available for them. „“Lapis at Papel para sa bawat batang Kabitenyo“ (Pencil and Paper project for Caviteño students) were hug to success with the help and Support 3idf Cavite City Leo Club, Cavite City Lions Club MJF, with our friends to our online fund raising campaign. Also Philippines National Police(PNP) – Cavite City , Bureau of Jail Management and Penology (BJMP) -Cavite City, LA Skyline Lion’s Club and Fresno host Lions Club both in California. Also helped us during the distribution of the school supplies in 12 schools located in Cavite City.
