Jhansi Lions Old Age Home Nears Reality
The dream of serving humanity often begins in the heart of one determined individual. Such is the inspiring story behind the upcoming Jhansi Lions Old Age Home District 321B2 , a landmark humanitarian project of the Lions Clubs International family, initiated under the visionary leadership of IPDG PMJF Lion CA Anil Arora, Chairman of Lions Jhansi Seva Foundation.
For many years, CA Anil Arora carried a deep concern for the elderly members of society who, due to poverty, loneliness, or neglect, struggle to live with dignity and care. While many spoke about the need for support systems for senior citizens, Lion Anil Arora transformed compassion into action. His dream was not merely to construct a building, but to create a home filled with warmth, respect, security, and human connection for the neediest elderly people.
What began as a vision slowly turned into a determined mission. The path was not easy. Establishing an old age home of such scale required tireless planning, financial resources, administrative coordination, and unwavering commitment. Yet CA Anil Arora remained steadfast. His dedication, persistence, and tremendous personal involvement became the driving force behind the project. Day after day, meeting after meeting, he worked relentlessly to ensure that the dream moved closer to reality.
A major milestone came when the project received substantial support from Lions Clubs International Foundation through an LCIF grant. This support became possible with the valuable guidance and encouragement of Past International Director Lion Jitendra Singh Chauhan Ji, Past International Director Lion G. S. Hora Ji, and Vice Area Leader (LCIF) Lion Abhinav Singh. Their collective efforts strengthened the foundation of the project and inspired confidence among all involved.
A particularly significant contribution came from PDG Lion Visheshwar Shukla Ji, whose generous support and commitment played a crucial role in the progress of this noble initiative. He facilitated the availability of land on lease from Lions Club Jhansi Vishal at a suitable location for the establishment of the Old Age Home. His contribution laid the foundation for transforming the dream into reality and stands as a shining example of true Lions service and dedication to humanity.
Alongside them, numerous lion members and generous non-lion donors extended financial and moral support, reflecting the spirit of collective service and compassion.
Today, the Jhansi Lions Old Age Home stands near completion, a proud symbol of dedication, teamwork, and humanitarian service. With an approximate project cost of US$69,000, including nearly US$52,000 contributed through LCIF support, the project represents the power of visionary leadership combined with community participation. Solar panels are also installed.
Above all, this achievement highlights the extraordinary determination of CA Anil Arora. His commitment to serving the underprivileged elderly has transformed a dream into a lasting institution of care and humanity. The soon-to-be inaugurated Old Age Home will not only shelter the elderly but also restore hope, dignity, and love in their lives.
As the doors of the Jhansi Lions Old Age Home prepare to open, the project stands as a shining example of how one individual’s unwavering resolve, supported by dedicated Lions leaders and compassionate donors, can inspire an entire community to serve humanity with compassion and purpose.
