LCIF HUNGER GRANT PROJECT – DISTRICT 307 B1
Kitchen Renovation and Addition of Equipment for SLB B Pangudi Luhur, Jakarta, Indonesia

Project Background
– SLB B Pangudi Luhur as a specialty impaired school has long been a partner & service recipient of Lions.
– Many students came from lower-middle class backgrounds.
– Daily feeding (lunch) has long been a complementary program of the school to provide adequate nutrition for 330 students.
– The original kitchen started operational since 1989 never done any renovation works.

Project Objective
1. Expand Kitchen Area: Expansion from 60 sqm to become 105 sqm
Switch area between kitchen and staff living quarters
2. Redesign & Rebuild the Kitchen: Improve workflow, open space, new access to Dining area
3. Redesign & Rebuild the Living Quarters: Improve air circulation & ventilation. Proper living space, new staff pantry area
4. Rejuvenate & Replace Kitchen Equipment & Facilities: Replace & adding kitchen facilities & equipment. Replace & adding kitchen & dining utensils.

Service Capacity
– 415 daily people served
– PS annual growth of 5%

1. LCIF Hunger Grant: USD 65,695
2. LCIF DCG of District 307B1: USD 14,524
3. YLMI: IDR 100 million.
