Hearing Health Awareness Mission in the Philippines

The New Orleans Filipino American Lions Club, together with our dedicated partners—including the Gift of Hearing Foundation, Oticon Hearing Foundation, UST Audiologists and ENT Specialists, the Filipino-American Association of Baton Rouge, Yaya’s Restaurant, Central Luzon State University, the Municipal Government of the Science City of Muñoz, and the Kamandag Eagles Club (Philippines)—came together to bring the gift of hearing to Science City of Muñoz, Nueva Ecija, Philippines.
Through this collaborative effort, approximately 150 individuals were screened and evaluated, and 50 hearing aids were provided. Most importantly, 27 lives were transformed—restoring not only hearing, but connection, confidence, and hope within the community.
