Harmony dalam Pelayanan,Gemilang dalam Kebersamaa
Approaching the Chinese New Year 2577 Kong Zili, the Lions Club District 307A1 held a service activity in Dharma Jaya Toasebio Temple (https://maps.app.goo.gl/PV7nNCCGeAA2unKB8) on Saturday, 7th February 2026.
An approximately 1000 underprivilege families, mainly elders gathered since early morning and were given CNY packages in pails containing basic dan daily necessities.
This community service activity, held in preparation for the upcoming Chinese New Year celebrations, was attended by the Deputy Minister of Creative Economy, Irene Umar. The event was also supported by over 100 Lions and Leos members from over 50 clubs who attended to support and assist in the preparation and distribution of the packages.
The theme of the activity, “Harmony dalam Pelayanan, Gemilang dalam Kebersamaan”, emphasized the importance of maintaining harmony among the diverse communities of Indonesia. The Dharma Jaya Toasebio Temple is located in Glodok, Jakarta, a densely populated area known as the city’s main traditional trading center and home to residents from diverse backgrounds.
