Flying Against the Wind – The Infinite Love of Lio
In the true spirit of “We Serve,” Lions Clubs International District 300C 2, under the visionary leadership and thoughtful planning of District Governor Lion Hsu Chi-Ben, proudly launched the “Flying Against the Wind – Infinite Love” cycling event for physically challenged riders.
The event commenced with a grand send-off ceremony at the Taichung City Council on October 10, marking the beginning of a 10-day cycling journey around Taiwan. This remarkable initiative unites Lions members and community partners across the island in a shared mission of courage, compassion, and inclusion.
Through this project, DG Hsu and District 300C 2 exemplify the core values of Lionism — transforming empathy into action and service into empowerment. Each cyclist who bravely rides against the wind embodies the strength to overcome challenges and the unyielding belief that love and perseverance know no limits.
The “Flying Against the Wind” project aims to raise awareness for people with disabilities, advocate accessibility and equal opportunity, and celebrate the human spirit’s capacity to rise above adversity. It stands as a testament to the dedication and teamwork of all participating Lions, whose service illuminates communities and inspires hope.
Representing the Lions of District 300C 2 proudly shares this accomplishment with the global Lions family. Together, we continue to demonstrate how compassion, leadership, and unity can transform lives and strengthen humanity worldwide.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to District Governor Hsu Chi-Ben, the organizing committees, participating clubs, sponsors, and volunteers for their commitment, generosity, and unwavering Lions spirit.
When Lions serve — love truly knows no limits.
