Education has been one the major thematic focuses for the Lions Club ever since its inception. Quality education especially for the deprived has been a constant endeavor. While the Lions Club of Rudauli came into existence in 1982, one of its immediately identified area of intervention was the lack of a quality education institution for the children coming from economically vulnerable classes. Lion Dr. Nehal Raza took this up as a challenge and initiated an education empowerment program in 1995 with the launch of DSM Lions School Rudauli. The school started as a very small institution providing education from primary to middle classes. The school started as a very small institution providing education from primary to middle classes. Soon the school found its place for financial assistance under LCIF Scheme. The school later got accredited by the Anglo Inspector of Schools, Lucknow. Followed by affiliation for standard 10th in 2010 and 12th in 2015 by the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi, India.
DSM school is located at a highly visible and busy national High Way No. 27 at 82 Km from Lucknow on Ayodhya Road. Medium of Education is English. Its co-ed school affiliated to CBSE.
Campus of school is approximately an area of 2.5 acres is housing the School. Its building includes 20 rooms, auditorium, three labs, and Playground all bearing planks mentioning of LCIF contribution.
In this School computer is taught as a compulsory subject to all the pupils from class 1 to 12.
School provides services of five buses for transportation purpose of the student
School is distinguished for its qualified and committed teaching faculty.
The school started as a very small institution providing education from primary to middle classes. Soon the school found its place for financial assistance under LCIF Scheme. LICF gave a donation of Rs 15 lacs towards development of school in 1999.
Hostel facilities are made available for eight teachers.in the school. Fee is kept low to allow underprivileged children to benefit.
For adequate growth of school 10 class rooms, four labs and computers and few more transport vehicles are urgently needed.
Visibility of LCIF Grant message is put on the main entrance gate and all major strategic points in the school. It is to show our gratitude for the grant made available to the school. Location on highway highlights the name of LCIF to hundreds and thousands of people travelling on this major road of the nation Lucknow to Ayodhya.
