Covid-19 Vaccination
Members of Lions Club Lucknow Tahzeeb District 321B1 with the support of Government of Uttar Pradesh, Department of Medical & Health organized a Vaccination Camp for Covid-19 at Madarsa Jia-Ul-Islam, a permanent project of club at Sitapur Road , Lucknow.
The Team Tahzeeb make the impossible task possible in so short time that every visitor was happy and satisfied for the arrangement . Drinking water were provided to all visitors and Tea with snacks to the medical Team. Lunch was also provided by Madarasa to the Medical team because they started their day at 7.00 am. Madarasa people soon spread the word amongst their associates about the upcoming vaccination camp & the result a gathering in good numbers.
It was a wonderful sight on 4th October at 10:00 am, when everyone witnessed more than 500 people gathered for the Vaccination even before the Camp started providing the doses. The Camp was very well organized and the Vaccination Team efficiently completed 500 doses. Equitable access to safe and effective vaccines is critical to ending the COVID-19 pandemic, so it is hugely encouraging to see vaccines are available in Uttar Pradesh India.
Lion Talat Ahamad of Lions Club Lucknow Tahzeeb District 321B1 has assured the people that they shall organize more such camps in near future to provide better service to our community. Safe and effective vaccines are a game-changing tool, but for the foreseeable future we must continue wearing masks, cleaning our hands, ensuring good ventilation indoors, physically distancing and avoiding crowds said Lion Kainat Tarannum Secretary of the Lucknow Tahzeeb Lions Club.
Being vaccinated does not mean that we can throw caution to the wind and put ourselves and others at risk, particularly because research is still ongoing into how much vaccines protect not only against disease but also against infection and transmission assured by District Governor Lion Brajesh Mohan Srivastava.
