Lions Club International Foundation MD 307 in collaboration with Special Olympics Indonesia continuously support the development of Athletes with Intellectual Disability. This commitment is realized in the form of a Charity Night Event held in Aneka Bhakti Building, Ministry of Social Affairs of The Republic of Indonesia, on 15th July 2026.
The Event was attended by representatives from various government officials including Director General of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Governor of East Nusa Tenggara, Lions from Multi District 307, various Donors and Sponsors. The Event raised IDR 103 Million (Equiv. to USD 5,722) from Sales of Tickets and IDR 157 Million (Equiv. to USD 8,722) from Auctions of Artwork Paintings made by Children with Intellectual Disability and Local Woven Fabrics from East Nusa Tenggara. In addition, Lions also support the event by supporting Rp. 20 Million (Equiv. to USD 1,111) for the availability of food and Rp. 5 Million (Equiv. to USD 277) for Performance by Disabled Children.
The fund raised from the Charity Night is used to help these Athletes to show cast their talents and compete in the National Competition Event, namely PESONAS (Pekan Special Olympics Nasional), to be held in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara in October 2026.
