The World Cancer Day Awareness Campaign 2025, organized by Leo District Council 325 C in collaboration with Nobel Cancer Hospital, Nepal Cancer Relief Society, and regional health institutions, successfully engaged over 3000 youth in a series of impactful events. The campaign featured a Mini Marathon, an Awareness Rally, a Slow Cycle Race, and a Tricycle Race, emphasizing the importance of an active lifestyle in cancer prevention. A free cancer screening camp provided early detection services to hundreds, while a Candlelight Ceremony honored survivors and remembered those lost to cancer. The program concluded with a Panel Discussion, where experts, government officials, and survivors discussed cancer prevention, treatment, and advocacy. With Hon. Packkarn Rai, Minister of Social Development, and key health leaders in attendance, the event successfully raised awareness and encouraged proactive health measures in the community.
