ASMEPPS LIONS CONDUCTS OUTREACH FOR SITIO BULABOG CHILDREN
Pilar, Sorsogon – – The ASMEPPS Lions Club of District 301A2 successfully held a community outreach activity targeting the children of Sitio Bulabog, Dapdap, Pilar, with the core theme of „Bringing Joy, Hope, and Love.“
PROGRAM COMPONENTS
The event combined educational and welfare initiatives to support the young beneficiaries:
– A storytelling session led by DLC China Marie Deferia aimed to foster creativity and a love for learning among the children.
– Dr. Janet de Guzman facilitated an oral health education workshop, emphasizing the value of regular brushing and good dental practices.
– Distributions included lunch bags, snack packs (cookies and juice), dental hygiene kits (toothbrush and toothpaste), and school supplies in pencil kits.
– A feeding program featuring Jollibee’s chicken and spaghetti provided a special meal for all attendees.
VOLUNTEER TEAM
The activity was coordinated and executed by dedicated Lion members: Lion CP Eloisa Olivera, Lion RC Dr. Sanros T. Castillo Jr, Lion Chit Esquilon, IPP Dexter Midas Deferia, DLC China Marie Deferia, and PP Dr. Janet E. De Guzman.
„The smiles on the children’s faces remind us why we do what we do – serving our communities with compassion and commitment,“ shared one volunteer.
