On 4 January 2026, Lions Club Tanakpur, under District 321B1, successfully organized a blood donation camp at the local Sub-District Hospital. The camp was held with the aim of supporting patients who need blood for medical treatment and emergencies. The program received an encouraging response from blood donors and volunteers, and a total of 20 units of blood were collected during the camp. This collected blood will help save lives and support hospitals in meeting urgent medical requirements in the area.
The blood donation camp was conducted in a well-organized and disciplined manner. Proper medical procedures were followed to ensure the safety and comfort of all donors. Special care was taken to maintain hygiene, donor screening, and post-donation care so that every participant felt safe and confident while donating blood.
The camp received strong medical and technical support from New Life Line Charitable Trust, Khatima. The medical team was led by Dr. Subhash Yadav and Dr. Neelima Jiyala, along with their experienced staff members. The team carefully examined all donors before blood donation and ensured that the entire process was carried out smoothly and according to medical standards. Their dedication and cooperation played an important role in the success of the camp.
A very special moment of the program was the honoring of Lion Ravindra Mahar, a senior and devoted member of the Lions Club. He was felicitated on the proud occasion of completing his 100th blood donation. This remarkable achievement reflects his lifelong commitment to humanity and social service. To recognize his outstanding contribution, the Lions Club honored him by presenting a shawl. The camp was organized under the leadership of Anurag Agrawal, President of Lions Club Tanakpur. The event was smoothly coordinated by Deepak Chhatwal, who served as the Camp Convenor. He was actively supported by Sanjay Agrawal. Gaurav Agrawal, the Club Secretary, along with many other Lions Club members, was also present and contributed wholeheartedly to the successful organization of the camp.
