國際獅子會300 C2區 植樹活動
在春意盎然、萬物萌發的時節，國際獅子會300C2區於翁子公園舉辦年度盛大的植樹活動，由許吉本總監親自帶領，全區獅友齊心投入，共同完成「1000株植樹」的重要里程碑。這不僅是一場簡單的綠化行動，更是一份對土地的承諾，對未來世代的責任。
活動當天，陽光溫暖而不炙熱，現場聚集了眾多熱心參與的獅友與志工。大家戴上帽子、拿起工具，在專業人員的指導下，一鏟一鏟地翻土、一株一株地種下希望。從照片中可以看到，不論是總監還是夥伴們，皆親力親為，彎下身、沾滿泥土，展現出服務最真誠的一面。這樣的畫面，正是獅子會「我們服務（We Serve）」精神的最佳寫照。

In the vibrant season of spring, when all things come to life, Lions Clubs International District 300C2 held its annual tree-planting event at Wengzi Park. Led personally by District Governor Hsu Ji-Ben, Lions members from across the district came together with unity and enthusiasm to accomplish the meaningful milestone of planting 1,000 trees. This was not merely a greening activity, but a commitment to the land and a responsibility to future generations.
On the day of the event, the weather was pleasantly warm, creating the perfect atmosphere for outdoor service. Lions and volunteers gathered on-site, putting on their hats and picking up tools. Under professional guidance, they worked hand in hand—digging, planting, and nurturing each sapling with care. As seen in the scene, everyone—from the District Governor to each participant—personally took part, bending down and working with the soil. It was a genuine and powerful reflection of the Lions’ spirit: “We Serve.”
This event aligned with the Tree-Planting Month theme, “Rooted in Place, Building Resilient Forests,” symbolizing deep roots in the land and the creation of a sustainable ecological future. Every sapling planted represents a commitment to environmental protection and a vision of a greener, stronger natural defense for generations to come. Through this collective effort, not only was the environment enhanced, but the unity and camaraderie among Lions members were also strengthened.
District Governor Hsu emphasized that service is not just a slogan—it is demonstrated through action. Tree planting not only benefits the environment but also allows participants to experience the true value of teamwork and giving. When we plant a tree for the earth, we are also planting hope for the next generation.
