Kendyl Stoler was selected as the first student to be awarded this special honor. Kendyl is the daughter of Emilie Powers and Dan Stoler. Kendyl is 9 years old and a 4th grade student in Mrs. Canaan’s class. Kendyl plays team softball, participates in chorus and band as well. She is also a student helper in a kindergarten classroom and the teacher is very appreciative of her willingness to help out. In the future, Kendyl would love to be a teacher. Kendyl received from the Columbia Lions Club a framed certificate and an educational game from members Lion Birk and Lion Fleckenstein on Monday, April 3rd. The school announced this achievement on the announcements and her peers were excited for her achievement.
