Something Good
Members of the McKeesport Lions Club have been collecting pop tabs for Ronald McDonald House in Pittsburgh (they recycle the tabs at a local center and use proceeds to help stock the pantry for families whose children are undergoing long-term care at the adjacent UPMC Children’s Hospital) and club president Marie Domingo dropped off the collection. The same day, Marie picked up 478 pair of eyeglasses from Greater Pittsburgh International Airport unclaimed items area and turned them in at a local WalMart where they will be recycled for those in need. This club is awesome in performing service projects for the community!
