Diabetes Awareness Day – Batangas Saudi 101 Lions
On this special occasion of Diabetes Awareness Day, we are proud to highlight the vital role of community and healthcare awareness in managing and preventing diabetes. As part of today’s celebration, we are honored that Batangas Saudi 101 Lions Club serves as first aid and medical team at the All Filipino Community & Sports Commission (AFCSCOM) Eastern Province Darters Association (EPDA) Dart Tournament held today November 15, 2024 at Nesto Hypermarket, Al Khobar, Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia.
The Batangas Saudi 101 Lions Club has been an incredible source of regular support and service to the Filipino community in Eastern Province in Kingdom of Saudi Arabia by offering free blood pressure checks, blood sugar tests screening, and also providing anti-influenza flu vaccination thru coordination with Ministry of Health (MOH).These services not only provide essential health checks, but also help raise awareness about the importance of early detection and prevention in the fight against diabetes. Regular health screenings, like those being offered today, are crucial in identifying those at risk of diabetes and taking early action to prevent or manage the condition.
