Mass diabetes screening

The Diabetes Mass Screening Service Project was a large-scale health initiative conducted across 19 locations in Lions District 325 C to identify undiagnosed diabetes cases and raise awareness about diabetes prevention. Implemented by Leo District Council 325 C and Leo Clubs across the district with the support of Lions and healthcare professionals, the project provided free diabetes screening using portable testing machines. Participants were first assessed through a structured questionnaire before undergoing screenings, and those at risk were referred for further medical consultation. Through this initiative, nearly 20,000 individuals benefited from early detection, awareness campaigns, and essential health guidance, promoting proactive healthcare in the community.
