Arunima Project: Mission of Hope
The Arunima Project, conceptualized and led by MJF Lion Rita Dalela, is being carried out by Lions Club Bhopal Majestic since September 2025. Under this project, the club regularly organizes service activities every fortnight at AIIMS Hospital, Bhopal, dedicated to children suffering from cancer.
The project focuses on providing emotional support, joyful moments, and compassionate care to young patients who are bravely undergoing treatment. The club believes that healing is not only about medicines, but also about love, laughter, and hope.
As part of this ongoing initiative, the children are engaged through puppet shows, magic shows, storytelling sessions, and painting activities, creating an atmosphere of happiness and creativity within the hospital setting. Along with these activities, the club also distributes nutritious food to support the children’s strength and recovery during their treatment.
The Arunima Project stands as a heartfelt mission to walk alongside these young warriors by nurturing their smiles, courage, and emotional well-being, while reminding them that they are not alone in their fight against cancer.
