We Serve By Heart

Yes, our service always make a difference in our community. This is a very proud moment for me to share a success story regarding one of the Lions Global Cause: food for hunger.
In India we are passing the most difficult stage of the pandemic during these last few months.
In our country we have many daily earners who are struggling to have their normal daily food. The pandemic lockdown created a very difficult time for them. Being a Charter president of our club, I encouraged our club members to do something for them. Our club Lions Club Lucknow Eklavya in District 321-B1 distributed 200 packets of cooked meals in between the people of labor class at Hanuman Setu Temple area situated in Lucknow UP ,India. During the lockdown period, they had no job for their livelihood. They were unable to earn a single penny. That’s why they were suffering from their daily hunger. After some time, we will repeat the event for them. Although it was a very small humanitarian service but our club members were very happy to do for them. After all, where there is need there is a Lion.
