Leo Club of Juhu’s Cook For a Cause
Leo Club of Juhu successfully executed “Cook for a Cause”, a large-scale feeding initiative to spread warmth, nourishment, and dignity to underprivileged individuals. Over the day, Leos came together to cook, assemble, and distribute Frankie’s and sandwiches across various underserved communities.
Beyond the impact, the project was filled with laughter, bonding, and true Leo spirit – as members cooked side by side, danced to music in the kitchen, and celebrated the joy of serving together. It was a perfect blend of fellowship, service, and unforgettable fun.
The project was a blend of Service & Leo Bonding, with friendly competitions making the space lively. We served over 1,500+ underprivileged families, giving them an entire day’s meal!
What truly stayed with me were the moments during distribution — the way people’s eyes lit up with gratitude, the smiles we received in return, and the quiet ‘thank yous’ that said so much. It reminded me that even something as simple as a sandwich can carry warmth, dignity, and hope.
