Comfort On Wheels
Every day, Mumbai’s autorickshaw drivers brave the scorching heat and grueling hours, sitting on uncomfortable seats that often lead to long-term health issues. Recognizing their silent struggles, we envisioned Comfort on Wheels — a project aimed at offering them relief, dignity, and support.
Milestones we marked in our Journey:
🏆 Winning a CSR grant of ₹3 lakh at the Leo Service Forum organized by District 3231 A3, we turned our idea into action.
🛺 We are set to distribute specially designed wooden beaded seats that promote better posture, improve air circulation, and prevent health issues like piles.
🎉 The journey began with an Opening Ceremony on 22nd March, where 60 seats were distributed, followed by Phase 2 on 30th March where we donated 500 seats to rickshaw drivers.
🚀 The final phase on 20th April will see us reach our ultimate goal of 1000 seats distributed to our city’s hardworking drivers.
In addition, we’re running a ”No Honking” campaign and placing stickers on rickshaws, for image building of Leos and supporting our membership drive.
Through Comfort on Wheels, we’re not just providing seats—we’re delivering respect, comfort, and care to the true movers of Mumbai.
