GIVING JOY AND HOPE THROUGH HUNGER RELIEF
The importance of Lions Club bringing love to the community at the end of the year lies in its ability to foster a sense of unity, hope, and gratitude.
The end of the year is a time of reflection and celebration, but not everyone has access to joy and comfort. Lions District 404B2 brought love spreading kindness on Monday 30th of December, 2024 in Ikeja by addressing the needs of the underprivileged, ensuring no one feels left behind through a mega hunger relief activity which was assisted by Lions Club International Foundation.
Lions always inspire hope and the aim of this hunger program is to encourage and assist those who may have faced hardships in the year reminding them that our little acts of love and service can rekindle hope and optimism for the coming year. Over 500 individuals benefited and received food items.
Ending the year with this act of love and service creates a positive foundation for District 404B2 for the upcoming year, reinforcing the Lions’ mission of service and compassion. By leading with love, we exemplify the true spirit of the season and inspire others to join in creating a brighter future for all.
